FAMKAB or “for all my knickers and britches” is a blog about music assembled by Brent Feldman and Justin Sieve.  We both share pretty similar tastes in music and because giving recommendations to friends got to be a constant task, we started this blog to assist in that and also make a repository of some of our absolute favorites.

Brent Feldman: I grew up on classic rock for the most part and some interesting stuff from the 80’s (Oingo Boingo, Tangerine Dream).  When I was about 16 the Napster craze was going on and sharing music really helped me discover a lot of new artists.  I love downtempo and chill music as well as rock, hip-hop and a lot of other various things.  The only thing I will not listen to is new country.

Justin: Arising like a phoenix from the ashes of a post-racial American society, I cut my teeth on the mean streets of Ballwin, Missouri. From this hardened upbringing I have transformed myself into what can only be considered a musical genius. Amazingly I’ve accomplished this without any musical talent what-so-ever and only an elementary understanding of music composition. In other words I’m unburdened by the weight of my own brilliance.
